Although I'm posting this under Heidi's profile because Marty's profile isn't available yet, I wanted to recognize the outstanding experience I had working with Marty Rice.
Buying a home is a big decision, and I couldn't have asked for a better Realtor than Marty. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire process easy to understand.
What really sets Marty apart is his construction background. As someone who doesn't know much about construction, I found his experience invaluable. He pointed out things I never would have noticed, explained potential concerns in plain language, and helped me make a confident, informed decision.
I also want to be transparent that Marty and I have been close friends for years. If anything, working with him only reinforced what I already knew. He is honest, professional, and truly cares about his clients. I would recommend Marty to anyone looking to buy a home.

Steve and Julie helped me buy my first home, in Cedar Falls Iowa. I was in a time crunch because the house I was renting got sold and I had 30 days to move out! Even though they are not from Cedar Falls, they took time to do extensive research so they could become familiar with the area and provide me with the proper guidance. As a first time home buyer, I was very picky and wanted to look at lots of different options. They were really patient with me and picked out a wide range of house sizes, styles and neighborhoods all within my price range. When I finally settled on one and was ready to make an offer, I was a little overwhelmed by the process but they walked me through all of the legal and financial paperwork and made sure I was comfortable and understood everything. They also did some great negotiating with the seller on my behalf, and after a couple rounds of offers and counter offers, I was able to get my home for $45,000 below the original asking price! All in all, they made something I was kind of nervous about into a fun and rewarding experience because they were kind, attentive, honest and trustworthy. When I'm ready to buy my next home, I would rather work with Steve & Julie again than with a local Cedar Falls / Waterloo realtor.
