I am a lifelong resident of Cresco. I joined the team in March of 2019 and am now the proud owner of Country Life Real Estate.  I am a graduate of Crestwood High School and earned my RN Degree from NICC in 2005. I reside on a small acreage outside of town with my husband Marty and three children, Parker, Collin, and Addison.

I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, a notary public, and I hold a real estate broker license in Iowa.

I enjoy working with and supporting the residents of my community. I currently serve on the Regional Health Services of Howard County Foundation Board and Evans Senior Living Community Board of Directors. I am an active member of the Cresco United Methodist Church and I volunteer at the Cresco Senior Citizens Meal Site.

I grew up in the Lime Springs area and now reside on a small acreage North of Cresco with my wife Heidi and three children, Parker, Collin, and Addison.

Most real estate agents can tell you if a house has nice curb appeal, but I'm the agent who can tell you exactly how that curb appeal was built.

With over 30 years of hands-on experience in residential home construction, I don't just look at properties, I understand them from the foundation to the roofline. When I'm not talking real estate or building homes you can typically find me spending time with my family and friends or volunteering with my church community. I especially enjoy river activities, hunting, sports, and traveling.

I have worked professionally in local real estate for 22 years and previously had 15 years experience in insurance and financial services. We have a small hobby farm and I enjoy working with our miniature horses. I am a lifelong resident of the area so I know it very well. 

    After the death of my spouse and co-founder Julie, I have sold the business firm to our daughter Heidi Rice. I am confident she will continue the great service as she has since joining the firm in 2019.

I completed the Registered Nursing Program at NICC in 2004, and in 2015 I graduated from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City with my Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. I love volunteering on school field trips and helping out with the school activities. In addition, I am an active member of Saude Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
